ABOUT JOHN
"Right now the buzzword is 'lifestyle,'" says John Wilson, who specializes in waterfront properties from Lighthouse Point to Highland Beach, "but for me what's important is how your new home makes you feel when you pull in the driveway, when you entertain friends, when you play catch with your kids in the back yard. It's all about helping buyers live the life they desire."

After earning a Business degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, John accepted an entry level job in the financial services industry and quickly worked his way up to a vice presidential position. Following his success on Wall Street, he transitioned into the building business and found a niche assisting real estate agents in helping clients improve their homes to maximize pricing or optimize newly purchased homes to be all they desired.

"Trust and integrity are key components to how I live my life professionally and personally," says John. He thoroughly understands that buying, selling, and developing real estate are significant endeavors and that customers require his respect and acknowledgement of their needs. They, in turn, find in him a well-honed, proven combination of sales skills, marketing methods, and negotiating savvy, and the extraordinary loyalty they show him testifies to the value they place on his service, attitude, productivity, and effectiveness.

Though born in Pittsburgh, John spent his formative years growing up in Fort Lauderdale, where his family relocated when he was a boy. He and his wife of 30 years—and best friend—Lisa are the proud parents of three adult sons and share a home in Lighthouse Point with Randi, their beloved German Shorthaired Pointer. In his free time, John is an avid road biker and gives back to the community by volunteering as a youth mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
