Lisa Cregan joins Sotheby's International Realty after a successful career as a nationally recognized journalist. Writing about luxury interior design, she was a regular contributor to prestigious magazines such as House Beautiful, Veranda, Elle Décor, and Traditional Home, Lisa is also the author of seven books for House Beautiful including Kitchens, Style 101 and Living by Water.


For nearly 20 years, Lisa's editors have trusted her discriminating taste, as well as her ability to recognize the most interesting aspects of a property. Bringing a truly unique perspective to her clients, an eye for beauty and love of style, this allows Lisa to offer both buyers and sellers uncommon insight into what makes a house a home. Having interviewed countless interior designers and homeowners over the years, Lisa has perfected the art of listening—when her clients relay their wants and needs, she translates them into reality.

Lisa has lived in Lake Forest, Illinois and Darien, Connecticut as well as city apartments in Manhattan and Chicago. She has the knowledge and connections to assist her clients from all over the country, but, most importantly, she understands the complicated dynamics of renovation, decorating, neighborhoods and pets and how to pull those various strands together to create the perfect Palm Beach home.
